Couples therapy

Are you struggling to communicate your feelings and unmet needs to your partner? Do you feel the relationship has gone stale and is not as fulfilling as it once was? Are you engaging in arguments with your partner that are ongoing and persistent? 

 

I am here to welcome couples into a respectful, objective, and safe environment in order to openly resolve underlying issues. In couples therapy, you can expect to set clear goals and expectations and safely process your concerns. I will work with you and your partner to clearly identify issues and then learn skills to improve the quality and closeness of the relationship. I support couples to:

  • Value and honor each other’s strengths as well as each other’s differences

  • Gain awareness on family of origin influences and modeled relationships 

  • Notice problematic dynamics and behavioral patterns 

  • Improve communication skills

  • Increase intimacy and overall closeness and connection to their partner
